Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6QT ClearCook Air Fryer

I bought this because I wanted a smaller oven that could handle weeknight cooking without heating the whole kitchen. That matters more to me than I expected. When I turn this on, the room does not get miserable the way the big oven can, and that alone makes it easier to use on an ordinary evening instead of putting it off until I am already too tired to cook.
This is the kind of appliance I would recommend to someone who cooks for one or two, or to anybody who uses a lot of roasted vegetables and leftovers. It has been especially good for the simple stuff I reach for most often. Brussels sprouts, broccoli, green beans, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, zucchini, all of that comes out with a little browning and enough texture that it tastes like real food instead of something steamed into submission. It also handles reheating leftovers well, which is a bigger deal than people make it out to be. Pizza, roasted chicken, fries, and last night's vegetables all come back to life better than they do in the microwave.
The clear window is one of the things I like most. I do not have to keep opening the basket to check on things and lose heat every time. I can glance at it and see whether the food is browning the way I want. That sounds small, but it makes the whole thing easier to live with. The controls are also straightforward once you get used to them. I like being able to choose a program without feeling like I need to read a manual every time I cook something new.
Cleanup is easy, which keeps it from becoming one more gadget that sits there looking useful. If I am cooking vegetables with a little oil, or reheating something that leaves crumbs behind, I can wipe it out without a fight. That is the difference between an appliance you use once in a while and one that ends up in the rotation. I keep this one on the counter because it earns the space.
The one thing I wish were a little better is the control panel. It works fine, but there are enough options that it can feel busy at first, and I do not think every preset is equally useful. I mostly end up using the same handful of settings and ignoring the rest. Not a dealbreaker, just a little more button business than I want when I am trying to get dinner going.
I use this more than I thought I would because it fits real life. It handles a tray of vegetables, it reheats leftovers without drying them out, and it does not turn the kitchen into a sauna. That is a pretty good combination. If you want something smaller than a full oven but still capable enough for everyday cooking, this is an easy one to live with.
